Staying at the Gasthof was a mixed experience. The rooms, although simple in decor, were clean and centrally located, providing a sense of security. The service was friendly, but the unrequested room cleaning was a bit off. The location, right in the heart of Hallstatt and by the lake, was a major highlight, but dining options left something to be desired.
